The Remotion Timeline ("Timeline") is a copy-pasteable component intended for use together with the Remotion Software. Thus, the license of the Remotion Software applies to the Timeline as well.
In order for the Timeline to be used, it needs to be purchased from https://remotion.pro/timeline.
The Timeline component needs to be bought once per project in which it is used.
- You can use the Timeline in your project, including for commercial purposes.
- You may use the Timeline component for as long as you wish and Remotion cannot revoke permission for you to use it.
- You may modify the Timeline component to your liking.
- You may implement the Timeline into your project making it available to your end users.
- You are not allowed to redistribute the source code, be it for free or re-selling it.
- You may not incorporate the source code into any other product’s source code offered for sale (e.g., embedding the Timeline in a video editor that is sold).

Obtaining the Timelines does not come with the allowance to use the Remotion Software itself. The license of the Remotion Software can be found here.
Any user is required to accept the legally binding Terms and Conditions to use the Remotion Software (i.e., the underlying technology of the Remotion Timeline).
The Remotion Timeline is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of
- merchantability,
- fitness for a particular purpose, and
- non-infringement.
In no event shall the author or copyright holders be liable for any claims, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection and use of the Remotion Timeline.
